Stress & Anxiety

How great would it be to feel like you can manage the stress in your life?  To know that you can have a calm mind when you need it?  To know how to get that energy boost without the sending your stress levels soaring?

A big chunk of hypnotherapy is based on stress management.  Modern life is very good at building up stress but it rarely allows us to release that stress.  That build up and release is an important natural balance. 

In nature, stress occurs and there is a natural fight or flight reaction so that all the chemical changes in our bodies are used up and the body is ‘reset’.  In modern life that fight/ flight response is generally not acceptable or appropriate.  So, stress builds up beyond our natural tolerance limit and spills over into destructive habits and unhelpful behaviours – smoking, drinking or insomnia, anger, anxiety.  Sometimes the unresolved issues are ‘boxed up’ and pushed down, locked away deep within us. 

Hypnotherapy not only relaxes us but also creates safe space for our unconscious mind to start resolving those issues.
